Hello. My name is Daniel Piquer and I'm an interactive / graphic designer with a strong concepting and idea creating gene in me.
I was educated in Digital Media at Hyper Island (Stockholm) with focus on design. I was at Hyper Island for 2 years with 7 month internship. I did my internship at
Domani Studios in New York. Currently I'm freelancing.
What I'm good at:
work hard. Idea and concept creation Interaction Design Problem Solving Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
My basic knowledge of Flash, HTML, CSS, Cinema 4D makes me a great fit in a web context.
My philosophy is that everything is possible ... And I can do everything .. with the help of others and the internet.

Description: Konditori Kungstornet is an old and traditional pastry that is placed
at one of Stockholm's maybe a bit forgotten sights, Kungstrornen at Kungsgatan in the heart of Stockholm. Kungstornen was one of Europe's first skyscraper when it was built in 1924 when Konditori Kungstornet opened the doors in 1934.
With the long history of Konditori Kungstornet I thought it would be interesting to create a graphical profile that makes a paraphrase, not a pastiche of prevailing design. I took the elements and colors from 1900 century, and put it in today's context.

Medieskolans final exhibition -07 - Graphic Profile

Description: I got this project by winning the school competition to make the graphic profile for the final exhibition for the >Medieskolan graduates -07 cohort. The theme was a play on the word "demonstration". The invitations was card (the one shown on the left here) and a spray can with a stencil with the word "demonstration" and you could use spray cans and stencil on the back of the invitation card.
